Ocean Conservation

The ocean provides the basis for all life. However, it is now in serious trouble. Relatively recent trends in overfishing and destructive fishing, pollution, carbon emissions and resource extraction have put this global system at risk. I dedicate the majority of my time to causes that improve the conservation of ocean ecosystems and biodiversity at transboundary and global scales. Below are links to several important ocean conservation efforts. These are a combination of initiatives of which I am directly involved along with those whose efforts I merely applaud as an enthusiastic friend.
