Marina, California.  If you’ve been looking for a one-stop source of breaking news on wilderness issues, check out The #wilderness Daily.  It’s a collection of wilderness-themed articles and media that have been posted via Twitter over the past 24 hours – and it’s published daily. Perhaps you’ve noticed the growing trend over the past year towards auto-generated Twitter “newspapers”? allows you to create your own customized daily paper based on whatever assortment of preferences you desire – from specific Twitter users to key topics and keywords, or a combination of all of these.  I created The #wilderness Daily a few months back and it’s as basic as it gets – simply a straightforward collection of articles related to the keyword “#wilderness”, generated from any and all Twitter users.  The majority of content is made of breaking news on wilderness issues from around the globe.  A few random, self-promoting wilderness outfitters and the very rare music act or art show using the term “wilderness” do show up, but only enough to add a little welcome variety to the paper.  Read it now or anytime for the latest word on the national and global state of wilderness.
